Clothes distribution 2020

A donation of €5,000 was received from an esteemed donor which is equivalent to $6,227.00 at the conversation rate during August 2020 which was during Muharram 2020. The recipients were of very poor and destitute background and the support provided assisted them in fulfilling some necessities required in our daily lives.n100 non-Sadat widowed and orphaned families in Herat benefitted on 29 August 2020 the following: –

• 1 clothes suit for ladies costing 700 Afghani Rupees
• 1 bag pack for children including all stationeries for a school going child costing 480 Afghani Rupees
• A total of 1,180.00 Afghani Rupees per cloth pack was utilised which was costed $15.50. A total of $1,550.00 was utilised towards 100 clothes pack.
• A balance of $4,677.00 remained after utilising $1,550.00 for the clothes distribution from the total donation of $6,227.00 received.
• $4,677.00 was utilised towards Moharram Food Distribution 2020 which took place in Herat. Details of the project are available in the Moharram Distribution 2020 Report.

We pray that the Almighty accepts the good deeds of the donor’s family and increases their sustenance in this world and the hereafter.
