Muharram Support 2020

- On behalf of our beneficiaries, we would like to thank all our donors and affiliate charity organisations for their support and contributions in feeding hungry widowed and orphaned families during the holy month of Muharram 2020. Your support provided food parcels to 250 families in Afghanistan in the city of Herat.
- The cost per food parcel was $71.00 and this comprised of 50 kg flour, 10 litre oil, 2 kg tea, 5 kg rice and 5 kg sugar.
- A total of $17,750.00 was spent towards the 250 food parcels distributed during the Muharram Food Distribution.
- 66 food parcels were on behalf of the total donations of 6,227.00 received from which $1,550.00 was utilised towards Clothes Distribution and $4,677.00 towards 66 food parcels distributed out of the total of 250 food parcels during Muharram 2020.
- We hope that our esteemed donors will continue to support the causes IWRO is working towards to provide some relief to the widowed and orphaned families in Afghanistan that are in desperate situations.
